Moran subsequently hired a attorney and fought back. And in November, it had been confirmed that she'd keep her crown and also participate in Miss Universe 2017 live online.
Yet another pageant winner, Miss Puerto Rico Kristhielee Caride, was actually stripped of her title. She dropped her crown after refusing to speak to the media and perform other Instead, runner-up Brenda Jimenez will represent Puerto Rico in Miss Universe 2017.
